Judo

Intended for children (ages 9 and up) and teenagers, our Judo class offers students fun exercise with other juniors and an opportunity to make new friends - a great after-school activity . For parents, these judo classes help their children foster a sense of discipline and respect.

Our Judo classes are taught by experienced teachers, and student safety is our priority. Students will learn basic throws and grappling techniques, as well as fun judo-based activities.

Family Judo
Tues. & Thurs. 5:15 – 6:15 p.m.
Saturday 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.

Judo is a dynamic martial art derived from Jujitsu that is also excellent for practical self-defense.  Judo emphasizes throwing and grappling techniques that are similar to wrestling.  With its acceptance as an Olympic sport in 1964, the popularity of Judo has soared.  Benefits include: improved balance and coordination, physical fitness, self-confidence and self-discipline.
