however; Jujitsu also emphasizes respect, goal-setting, self-confidence,
self-discipline, teamwork, coordination and physical fitness.

The sword and shield class was developed with children in mind, since the Adult sword class, Batto-do, requires students to be at least 14 years of age. The sword and shield class instructs young students in the art of the Samurai sword in a fun and safe environment |

The study of Jujitsu (Japanese for
“gentle art” ) focuses on using an opponents own force against
them. Used primarily for self-defense, Jujitsu incorporates throws,

however; Jujitsu also emphasizes respect, goal-setting, self-confidence,
self-discipline, teamwork, coordination and physical fitness.
